Pitkin County Property Tax: Due Dates & How to Pay (2026)

When property taxes are due for Aspen homeowners and where to handle your bill, from official Pitkin County sources. Updated July 2026.

Pitkin County property tax notices are mailed in mid-January; owners may pay in two halves (first half due February 28, second half due June 15) or in full by April 30. Under Colorado law, late payments accrue 1% interest per month after the due date.
