Residents and visitors are being reminded about rules for electric bikes in Snowmass Village. On public roads, the rules are the same as the rest of Colorado. However, there are restrictions on trails and paths.

Only certain types of electric bikes are allowed on paved recreation paths. These bikes must be pedal-assist, meaning the rider must be pedaling to get help from the motor.
