Aspen celebrated America's 250th birthday with its annual Old Fashioned Fourth of July parade. The parade lasted about 90 minutes and featured dozens of local organizations.

The event drew a crowd that lined the streets to watch the procession. Alex Ferreira, a local athlete, served as the grand marshal and rode on an Aspen Fire truck.

Other activities took place around the city, including a community picnic and free concert. A free carnival and performances were also part of the celebrations. For more information and details about the events, further coverage is available.
