A new terminal design has been proposed for the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport. The design includes some notable reductions, such as less space for passengers to wait and fewer parking spots. Employee amenities will also be decreased.

Despite these reductions, the design does make room for a potential future addition: a gondola system. This system would connect Brush Creek Park and Ride to Aspen.
