Aspen Acres fire surpasses 100,000 acres as crews increase containment to more than 60%

Crews have made progress in containing a large fire. The Aspen Acres fire has grown significantly.

Containment efforts have been somewhat successful, with more than 60 percent of the fire now under control. The fire's size is substantial, exceeding 100,000 acres.
